This article walks you through how to set up lead alerts and watchlists to monitor when companies visit and engage with your website.

How to Setup Lead Alerts

Receive an email alert when a company/domain visits your website.

  1. Login to your LIVE Leads platform and select Leads.
  2. Within the Alerts tab, select Create Company Alert.
  3. Enter the alert recipient's email address and the company domains that you would like to receive alerts upon their website visit. To add multiple domains, click Upload List.
  4. Set the following preferences:
    • Threshold - receive alerts only if the visitor views a certain number of pages, or higher.
    • Frequency - the amount of time the alert will allow between visits from a company.
      (Example: If a company visits at 2pm and you set the alert to trigger every hour, it won't send you an alert until there has been at least 1 hour's time between the first visit at 2pm and a subsequent visit.)
    • Status - shows whether alerts for this domain are Active or Disabled.
  5. Click Advanced Alerts to setup alerts based on a visitor's identity or IP address.

 

How to Setup Account Watchlists

Monitor when specific companies (target accounts, leads, current customers, and even your competitors) show increased buying intent and engagement over time.

  1. Login to your LIVE Leads platform and select Leads.
  2. Within the Watchlist tab, click New Watchlist.
  3. Enter a list of websites for the companies that you wish to track. Enter one domain name per line (do not include www or http) and click Import.
  4. To add or remove companies from a Watchlist, select the Watchlist from the drop down and click Edit.
  5. To schedule watchlist reporting emails, select the Watchlist from the drop down and click Email Reports. Choose to receive the emails weekly, monthly, or quarterly and enter the email address(es) you would like the reporting emails sent to.
