Lead Scoring & Lead Filtering

This article walks you through how to set up lead scoring to determine the most highly qualified accounts visiting your website and filter accounts.

With the lead scoring feature, you can define specific criteria to determine the most highly qualified accounts visiting your website. Simply set your Lead Score Preferences and each user can set their own preferences and select their own criteria for personalized lead scoring results.

Users can then choose to receive an email alert when a score lead visits their website and auto-push scored leads that meet a certain lead score directly to your CRM. (Be sure to set up your CRM in the LIVE Leads settings.

Leads can be scored by the following criteria:

  • Page Views
  • Hot Pages
  • Keywords/Referrals
  • Social
  • Return Visitor
  • Identity
  • Location
  • Revenue
  • Employees
  • Company Name
  • Industry

How to Setup Lead Scoring

  1. Login to your LIVE Leads platform.
  2. Select Leads and then click the Lead Scoring tab.
  3. Define your specific lead scoring criteria.
  4. Choose to set partial scoring, apply Cold Pages filter, send email alerts, and auto-push to CRM.

Set Partial Scoring

The Lead Score total is out of 100 possible points.

Partial scoring (if checked) will divide 100 by the number of matched preferences. Meaning, if you have 4 preferences selected and a lead matches two of them, they will receive a score of 50 points.

If partial scoring is unchecked, the lead will receive a score of 100, if all preferences are met. Conversely, if no preferences are met, the lead will received a score of 0. This is known as strict scoring.

If checked, you will receive an email alert if the lead has a score higher than zero. If unchecked, you will ONLY receive an alert if a lead has a perfect score of 100.

Apply Filters

Apply the Cold Pages filter logic to lower the score and not send an alert for any visitor/lead that lands on one of your defined cold pages.

Cold Page Filtering can be accessed under Leads > Lead Filter tab.

Send Email Alerts

Receive an email alert when a new lead matches the criteria set in your scoring preferences.
The email alert will be sent to the email address associated with the main admin settings or based on the sub-user email settings.

CRM Auto Push

AutoSync your highly engaged accounts to your selected CRM based on your selected Lead Scoring preferences.

Select a score threshold from the drop-down menu and click Save.

Accounts that meet the minimum score threshold will be automatically synced to your CRM.
